A world renowned Historic Preservation Architect, David Helpern, FAIA, asked Lynne to do the renovations with him of the prestigious Penn Club in Manhattan, the private club that hosts memberships for alumni of the University of Pennsylvania, Columbia, NY, and their global reciprocal partners.

 

Lynne recognized the original décor as worth preserving in many ways, and yet brought a fresh new look and arrangement to the interior space.

 

Using hospitality and high end residential skills, Lynne partnered with several of her resources including Kravet, Jonathan Charles, and others to create a traditional interior that respects the Architect’s original design, while meeting the needs of a 21st century private club.

 

Lynne considers this project as one of her most privileged experiences as interior designer, and loves working in New York City and globally on both residential and commercial projects.
