This contemporary pied-à-terre is full of beautiful natural light. The client, having previously worked on several projects with the designer, requested serene colors and asked that the indoor and outdoor spaces flow easily for entertaining yet remain intimate for small gatherings. Lynne Beyer's and Ryc Loope's Design+Build team fully remodeled the home to update all the architectural details and outdated finishes. Sleek and inconspicuous media centers clad in fumed eucalyptus veneer were designed to hide the AV equipment. A wet bar was removed from the middle of the living room and the fireplace was turned into a work of art, allowing the space to not only flow with ease but also to be visually enticing.
